Siddhartha Gautama
To begin with ,Siddhartha Gautama also known as, the Buddha was famous famous for developing philosophy of Buddhism which focused on the Four Noble Truths and the Eight Folded Path. He grew up as a prince handsome and happily married with a new born son. Siddhartha was born in a small kingdom in the southern Himalayas in what is modern day Nepal. Siddhartha was born from C.563c-483bc. He became a monk, and began a journey to find the meaning of life.

3. Truth of the end of suffering (nihodha)
4. The truuthof the path that frees us from suffering (magga)

The Noble Eightfolded Path is one of the pricipal teachings of the Buddah, who described it as the way leading the cessation of suffering ( dukkha) and the achivement of self-awakening.

Chandragupta Maurya
Chandragupta Maurya’s was the first Gupta ruler of Mauryan dynasty. He had ruled for 10 years. He was an Indian military officer, and had built a strong army. His powerful army crushed any resistance to his rule. He was born around C.340 B.C. He was so concerned about getting attacked that he never slept two nights in a row in the same bed. He had a son named Bindusara.

Hammurabi
Hammurabi was Babylonian king. He was born 1792 BC. He began conquering cities controlled by the Amorites to the north and south. He was best known for creating a set of laws for his empire. He had posted this code for all to read. It was called the Hammurabi’s code which was written back to about 1772 BC. The code became known as “an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.” This means the punishment for crime should match the seriousness of the crime. Hammurabi had died 1750 BC.

Nebuchadnezzar
Nebuchadnezzar created a new empire. Nebuchadnezzar was a king, and had rebuilt Babylon making it the largest and riches city in the world. He built the gardens to please his Wife. Nebuchabnezzar built a beutiful street near the place that they could visit. After Nebuchadnezzar died, a series of weak kings ruled the Chaldean empire.
